由《世界企业家》杂志编制的2007年“中国500富豪榜中榜”日前在香港揭晓，哈佛大学商学院教授约翰•戴腾（John Deighton）博士、耶鲁大学管理学院教授莱维•多尔教授Ravi Dhar)博士等出席了财富报告会，该报告是全球首家涵盖了大陆、台湾、香港和澳门等两岸四地的富豪榜单。前三名都来自中国香港特别行政区, 他们是：郭炳湘三兄弟以1680亿人民币位居第一, 李嘉诚家族以1340亿人民币屈居榜单第二，李兆基以1230亿人民币排名第三。前10名中,分别有香港6人、大陆2人、台湾1人和澳门1人入榜。全部榜单在发表在世界企业家杂志和网站(bossline.com)上。
《世界企业家》(bossline.com)最新的统计数字显示，资产超过10亿美元以上的美国人已经达到415名，比世界上其他任何国家都多。拥有亿万富豪人数排名第二的国家是哪个国家呢？答案是中国，其亿万富豪总人数正直追美国。1年前，中国个人资产超过10亿美元的富豪人数只有85名，目前中国10亿美元的富豪人数已经达到146名。《世界企业家》杂志总编辑丁海森说，“中国已经有一个相当规模的富有阶层，中国的千万富翁有44万人(去年为35万人)，亿万富豪超过1.8万人(去年为1万人)，而百万富翁人数约占总人群的3.3%(去年为1%)，这些数字以惊人的速度增加，应该归功于中国股票市场和房地产市场的高速增长”。同时, 世界企业家》杂志还揭开了富豪第二和第三代的秘密。读者可以透过出身富豪门的大学校花的真实生活，看看富豪们是如何教育子女和财富继承的.
